COMPREHENSIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY CENTER
WORKWELL PROGRAM

Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center has been serving the Greater Cincinnati area since 1988. Founded by Tom DiAngelis, P.T. and Opal Riddle, P.T., the company has a reputation for quality care and expertise in many areas of treatment. Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center is a member of the Ohio Physical Therapy Network, a statewide network of independent Physical Therapy practices.

WorkWell is the workplace consultation program provided by Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center. WorkWell's Physical Therapists use their biomechanical expertise to insure that employees are working in a safe and efficient manner. They use their skills and knowledge of the human body to fit the work to the worker. This greatly reduces employee injury and Workers Compensation claims.

Our program utilizes on-site Work Risk Analysis, including ergonomic intervention recommendations, Management and Employee Training to prevent injuries using the IMPACC program, Ergonomic Team development using the IMPACC program, Job Rotation and Early Return to Work Programs, and our Injury Response Team to give early treatment intervention to injured workers.

As a provider of the IMPACC WorkSmart program, we feel that training workers to think of themselves as "workplace athletes" and giving management and workers the knowledge they need to protect their bodies creates a company-wide attitude of motivation and pride. This results in success in avoiding workplace injuries and a boost in morale. This may result in great cost savings on Worker's Compensation claims, a benefit for the entire company.

HARRISON PHYSICAL THERAPY

Harrison Physical Therapy is owned and operated by Tim Lees, P.T., a 1983 Cum Laude graduate of The Ohio State University. The clinic was founded in 1994 and focuses on providing quality outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and industrial rehabilitation. In the past, our company, Lees Rehabilitation Services, Inc. has provided contracted physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to the Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky region. This practice included providing service to an on site industrial physical therapy clinic at a local client's manufacturing plant.

Timothy B. Lees Co., Inc., the consulting arm of the owner of Harrison Physical Therapy, provides industrial consultation utilizing the IMPACC program. In this program, problem identification is provided with a Work Risk Analysis. This allows us to analyze workstations and workers using our clinical knowledge and expertise. The format identifies biomechanical risks (describing posture and movement patterns), and physical risks of injuries as well as corrective actions to minimize or abate risks.

Also provided is Management Training. Successful work injury prevention programs create commitment within the management team. Our management program teaches managers and supervisors work injury prevention techniques and gives them the tools they need to solve their own problems. In addition, it teaches them about the politics of preventing workplace injuries and effecting positive change in the workplace.

Employee Worksmart Motivation Training is provided in the program because we feel safety is not a program but an attitude that must be owned by the entire company. Employers must be motivated to take responsibility for the care of their working body. Our program motivates employees to be "Industrial Athletes", to use proper body mechanics, postures, movement patterns, and preventive stretching to minimize fatigue. It stresses self-awareness and communication.

Follow through and enforcement of the program will be insured with Ergo Team Training. This training creates and teaches a team of managers and workers within a company basic ergonomic problem solving techniques using Ergo Profiles, Ergonomic Risks Checklists and other tools. A written Ergonomic Plan is provided to each company for their customization and use.

We would be happy to talk with you further regarding our program.
