PINNACLE PHYSICAL THERAPY, INC.

PINNACLE PHYSICAL THERAPY, INC., located in Stowe, Vermont, specializes in WORK INJURY PREVENTION in Vermont and neighboring states through implementation of the IMPACC program. This facility is owned and operated by Philip L. Sweet, PT, a graduated of the University of Vermont who has specialized in the development and institution of Wellness and Injury Prevention programs for over eight years.

Beginning from the premise of maintaining workers in productive roles is essential to the success of a work injury prevention program and to the success of returning already injured employees to their usual work demands. Pinnacle Physical Therapy therefore works closely with area businesses to determine SAFE WORK with the goal of keeping workers on the job.

The foremost goal of Pinnacle Physical Therapy, as a consultant to regional businesses for Work Injury Prevention, is the resulting ability of a business to independently sustain and maintain internal control of injuries, their related costs and the multiple reasons negatively affecting these two parameters. The format of the IMPACC program is best suited to reach this goal. (Before becoming an IMPACC provider other programs were reviewed and criticized for their ability to reach this goal alone.)

Please refer to the information preceding this Provider Listing for a more detailed description of the IMPACC program, its philosophy and goals.

Pinnacle Physical Therapy, Inc. performs MODIFIED FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY EVALUATIONS for those employees, businesses, or insurance carriers that require or need these services. These evaluations are brief, 4 hours, compared to the often seen 8 hour or multiple day evaluations that are in practice today. The format used - similar to the underpinnings of the IMPACC program - utilizes current, validated principles of testing and observation to effectively minimize time and cost without diminishing reliability of the testing, the resulting assessment or recommendations.

PINNACLE PHYSICAL THERAPY, INC. is also a provider of out-patient physical therapy services in Central Vermont and the Northeast Kingdom. The clinic has established close working relationships with several businesses and insurance carriers to provide needed services in a cost effective manner. Pinnacle Physical Therapy is a member of all regional insurance carriers and is a member of PHYSICAL THERAPY PROVIDER NETWORK enabling cost incentive to over 300 various national and regional insurance companies.
